معرفی امارات متحده عربی

امارات متحده عربی (به عربی: الإمارات العربیّه المتّحده)، (مخفف انگلیسی: UAE)، کشوری است کوچک در جنوب غربی آسیا که از جنوب به قطر و عربستان، از شرق به عمان و از شمال به خلیج فارس راه دارد. این کشور از هفت شیخ‌نشین به نام‌های ابوظبی، دبی، شارجه، عجمان، فجیره، راس‌الخیمه و ام‌القوین درست شده است که بعد از استقلال از بریتانیا در ۲ دسامبر ۱۹۷۱ میلادی شکل گرفت. این روز را با نام روز ملی امارات جشن می‌گیرند. هر یک از این هفت امیرنشین از استقلال فراوانی برخوردارند، اما یک امیر موروثی به عنوان حاکم کشور ایفای وظیفه می‌کند و شورای عالی حکام که متشکل از هفت امیر است، رئیس دولت و کابینه را برمیگزینند. در حال حاضر امیر و رئیس دولت امارات شیخ خلیفه بن زاید آل نهیان است. پایتخت و بزرگ‌ترین شیخ‌نشین این کشور ابوظبی است. امارات متحده عربی یکی از بزرگترین ذخایر نفتی دنیا را در اختیار دارد و تولید ناخالص سرانه آن در حد ثروتمندترین کشورهای اروپای غربی است.
